Round up of Q 3 2024

In September we had a Book launch event of the 2nd edition of the book International Arbitration and EU Law (Elgar Publishing, 2024) which I co-edited with Dr. Stefano Castagna.

The event was kindly hosted by Sophie Lamb KC. The Honorable Judge Charles N. Brower delivered his powerful Foreword via a pre-recorded message. This was followed by a presentation of the various chapters by several authors who were in the room.

It was a stunning event and we look forward to publish the next edition in due course.

Also, in September I spoke at the Vilnius Arbitration Days, which was a highly interesting event.

In October, I provided a training for GIZ and RCC in Tirana on candidate countries of the Western Balkans should deal with intra-EU BITs, the ECT and EU model clauses for BITs with third States.

In November, I published the REPORT on Compliance with Investment Treaty Arbitration Awards 2024 (3rd edition) (published November 2024)

Finally, in November the new issue of the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review was published as online pre-publication. Another super interesting issue of this unique Review, published by Kluwer.
